While praying this early morning, I sensed a cloud of hatred among the sect of Igbo people who have embraced their Hebrew heritage, and started practicing Judaism. This hatred is deep seated and spreading among the Igbos, like a dark cloud. The message settled in my heart that the hatred is against the message of the cross. They believe the white man brought them the gospel, the “wrong religion”. I see this dark cloud of hatred and misconception clearly eating into the very fabric of the society. Immediately I received the word: blindness. This message came to my mind:
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in (Romans 11:25).
Like the majority of these present “Jews” who don’t believe in Jesus, it seems that majority of our people are following their footsteps to alienate themselves from the true gospel. These people occupying the Palestine land who are called the Jews are not the true sons of Abraham. The LORD told me that they are Jews by conversion, but not the true seed. They have taken it upon themselves to try to fulfill all the prophecies of the Bible concerning God’s chosen race, yet majority of them still reject the LORD Jesus Christ as their Messiah.
Now the Igbos (Ebos - Hebrews) who are the LORD’s firstborn, hold the key to the fulfillment of prophecies. But I see that most of Igbo people who said they have found their true identity as the Hebrews and have embraced it are making the very mistake the Jews in Jesus days made, and also following the footsteps of the “Jews” as above. They are rejecting Jesus as their Messiah claiming that He is a gospel presented to them by white people. In His days on Earth, Jesus wept because of His people’s rejection of Him, their Prince of peace.
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation (Luke 19:41-44 (KJV).
His people the Jews (Hebrews) were ignorant of their Messiah, and rejected Him. They were not aware of what belonged to their peace. He is the Lamb of God, that came to take away their sins through His once and for all sacrifice. He is the Prince of peace that came to offer His Blood for their reconciliation to God. Prophet Isaiah prophesied about this in Isaiah 9:6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)
Their rejection of Him was going to cause them another great trouble for their enemies would hedge them around, and take them captive: they, their children, their women and all they have were going to fall into the hands of their enemies. Their second temple would be leveled again because He is the true Temple.
After this prophecy, and after His crucifixion and resurrection, Titus of Rome led a war against them in 70AD. He laid a siege around Jerusalem until they began to die of hunger, starvation and pestilence and could fight no more. Among the Jews that came to celebrate Passover feast in Jerusalem, they were trapped on this siege which took about 1.1 million lives of non-combatants among the Jews through the war, hunger, pestilence that also resulted from the siege. Their Temple was burnt down just as the LORD Jesus said to them and the blood of those in the temple were shed right inside the Temple including their priests. These all happened because they rejected their Prince of peace.
Jesus is the fulfillment of the Bible Prophecies right from the Garden of Eden when God the Father said to the serpent that the Seed of the woman would bruise the serpent’s head. Moses’ writings and the sacrifices in the tabernacle of Moses pointed to Jesus; the Passover of Egypt pointed to the Blood of Jesus that would be shed for the redemption of man. The rejection of Jesus Christ is facing the wrath of God. Jesus took the anger and punishment of God upon the sins of mankind and the curse of sin upon Himself. He died a cursed death to save us from all curses. He was crucified as a criminal even when He committed no offence, so that you will receive the grace and mercy of God. Through His death, He tore the veil to the Holy of holies so that through His Blood and His righteousness, we can stand before the Holy God as sons without blame. In the time of Moses, it was Aaron the Chief Priest who entered the most holy Place on behalf of Israel one a year on the day of atonement after offering sacrifice of animals without blemish on his behalf, on behalf of his house-hold and on behalf of the nation of Israel. But the death of Jesus tore that veil and through His Blood and righteousness, we (as many as received Him as their LORD and savior) are all adopted into the family of God as sons so that as He is, so are we. We become joint heirs with Him. We are made righteous by faith in Him. He is our Way to God, our Door, our very life. Rejecting Him is eternal punishment in the Lake of fire forever.
My people, (Ebos-Hebrews), your zeal for Judaism without Christ reminds me of Apostle Paul’s passion and compassion for Israel:
Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God concerning them is for their salvation! I can testify about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. Because they disregarded the righteousness from God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted themselves to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (Romans 10:1-4 (HCSB).
I feel your heart concerning Jesus just like those of the Jews of His days who finally betrayed Him into the hands of the Roman soldiers and cried out: Crucify Him! Crucify Him!! Crucify Him!!!
But that was okay because it is written by Prophet Isaiah that
... it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand (Isaiah 53:10 KJV)
God made His soul an offering for sin. All those Mosaic sacrifices pointed to the offering of the life of Jesus for the sins of mankind once and for all. John the Baptist introduced Him as the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the whole world.
Right now, if you don’t have His Blood to plead for your sins and those of your loved ones and the nation, whose blood are you pleading? The word of God says that without the shedding of Blood, there is no remission for sins (Hebrews 9:22). God says that He has given us the blood at the altar to make atonement for our souls (Leviticus 17:11). Abel’s sacrifice was accepted by God because it was a bloody sacrifice of animals without blemish (God’s required sacrifice). Blood makes atonement for our souls, our sins. Now having abolished all blood sacrifices, God offered the Blood of His own Son, the perfect sacrifice for our sins for the remission of our sins and the Him reconciled us back to Himself.
The only way to approach God is through the offering of Blood and Jesus Blood is the only acceptable offering. That is why Isaiah said that God made His soul an offering for sin.
So if you reject Jesus Christ, you don’t have any acceptable access to God, and you cannot approach Him in His Holy of Holies or as sons.
My people, white people did not offer you Christ or the Bible. The Bible was translated from the Hebrew language to English Language, and the New Testament from Greek language to English language. It has nothing to do with the white people. All the writers of the Bible wrote as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and Moses got the Torah from God on Mount Sinai. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is very consistent. It will look as though one person wrote it even though it was written over the period of 1,500 years by various people who were not connected. Every word of the Bible pointed to Christ and we are looking forward now to His Millennium reign on Earth. He is coming. Only one third of the seed of Abraham will make it to His Millennium reign-those who recognized Him as their Messiah and weep for Him.
