I have written volumes of books for raising godly children, series of articles in Nigeriaworld which include prayers. As a parent, through consistent prayers and patience I have helped through their tender years, the Rocky Mountains of their teenage. I have always been there for them through all circumstances and even lost my reputations as I was constantly accused and criticized by people that I was focused so much on my children above taking up 8 hr paid jobs each day. I preferred working at home to be in their lives as the LORD instructed me, when I started having them.
What I am trying to say is that I have been there, and passed through the challenges of their lives with them, and they with me. It would not have been easy at all, if not for consistent intercessory prayers for them on daily basis, every early morning… the time the LORD asked me to get up each day and fight for their destinies.
As I rise each morning to pray for them, I see many activities going on in the Presence of God at that very hour that have to do with my children. Few months ago, I continued to see people I know in real life stand before God accusing me of neglecting to pray for them each time I do not stand up to pray for them at that very hour. You see, it’s not only parents that go through spiritual warfare, our children do go through a lot.
Every one that came to Earth through the womb of a woman, is a written scroll that God wrote to fulfil on Earth. He knitted that scroll of your life in the womb. Jesus said: Lo! I come in the volume of the book it is written of me…and David said: You knit me together in my mother’s womb. You are knitted together with the scroll of your life right in your mother’s womb. So are our children. As soon as they hit the earth, the enemy sends his agents against such life to go and disrupt and distract the life. The aim of the enemy is to see to it that each child be recruited into his kingdom for evil assignment, but if such a child is the seed of the righteous, he wants the child’s assignment on Earth terminated by death or by distraction and disruption. Did you get that.
The carelessness or ignorance of many parents or even the use of curse words on the children have caused many children to miss the mark or the enemy to take advantage of their lives. He uses the authority figures to fight the destinies of their children.
Last week, one of my daughters in College desperately wanted me to pray for her because she applied for a leadership position in school but there was a girl that was desperately following her about…very unusual. If she gets up from a chair, the girl would go and sit there. If she gets to cafeteria, she was next to her. The desperation of the girl was bad. I simply gave her a prophetic direction and decree, and moved on. Then, few days later while praying for them at 4am, I suddenly saw a desperate black lady grab something from one of my daughters and put in her mouth. I casually prayed a bit and returned to bed. The Holy Spirit reminded me what I had just seen and asked me to return to prayers and stop that distraction. I called my daughter and she confirmed my revelation. I began to pray again, I saw her stand before God laying charges on why my daughter should not be given the position but her. Her argument was based on a decree someone, probably from the bloodline made against our family. I stood by the blood of Jesus to revoke the judgment. The word of God says that every tongue that rises against us in judgment we shall condemn. While still battling the situation on her behalf I asked her if she had paid her tithe, she said no. I asked her to pay it now online so God would rebuke the devourer for her sake. As soon as this was done, I saw the adversary disarmed and turned away. The next day, she won the position. That position is part of God’s plan for her life which the enemy wanted to divert. It took my 4am intercession to help her secure the position in the spirit, which manifested in the physical.
SATANIC ACCUSATIONS AND DIVERSIONS
I use to wonder why the agents of Satan always falsely accuses people, even when the person has done nothing wrong. This is because, God operate on courtroom. Every case concerning every life passes through the courtroom of God. It is written that the enemy accuses the people of God day and night before God. Let’s check some examples of such accusations:
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment (Zechariah 3:1-4 (KJV)
Though Joshua was a Priest of God, but Satan’s accusation to resist Joshua’s Priestly establishment was based on the iniquity on his bloodline. On daily basis, Satan digs issues about people’s lives, what is the bloodline, what utterances the parents or authority figures made against them, what personal and generational sins the person has committed or his ancestors these he presents before the LORD day and night, and uses them as excuse to divert, steal, kill and destroy lives. I will not talk extensively on these, since I am simply talking about fighting or the destinies of our children.
God established a divine order of worship and presentation of our lives and families before Him on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. In all these presentations, we are to present both ourselves and our children unto Him. These are periods when all creations are presented to Him. Failure to appear before God on His appointed seasons of meeting with him, is a contempt of divine order. This gives room for the enemy to present cases against such a person. Job did not appear before God when Satan presented case against him before God. Even though God was proud of Job’s righteousness, but since Job was not present before God in His courtroom at that time, Satan was granted permission to afflict him and all he had.
I have an assigned appointed time to pray for my children every morning. The moment I fail to do this, God opens my eyes and I see the adversaries, people I know on earth standing before the LORD accusing either me of negligence to stand for my children and so seek permission against my family, ministry or to kill or destroy the lives of my children. Most warfare concerning my children’s welfare are won at this hour. To this, I am asked to intercede and release the blessings of Abraham on their lives, at this time.
THE FOURTH WATCH
Jesus lives with the Father in Heaven but gave us the Holy Spirit to dwell with us as our Helper and Comforter on the earth. He however, visits the Earth daily on our appointed times with the Father. He visits on the fourth watch (from 3am). This also is the time the agents of Satan are returning from the covens to implement their wicked works upon people of the earth. It is the womb of the morning. Whatever happens at this hour affects the day. Witcraft curses are implemented at these hours against people, but when you stand to take over your day and command your morning (which Job did not do, and this resulted in his great affliction), you take over your day. This is also when you can shape the destinies of your children according to God’s plan for He will reveal to you many things at this hour as you wait upon Him.
One early morning, while praying at the appointed hour of prayers for my children, I was praying the covenant blessings of Abraham over them, I discovered that someone-whether an angel of God or whoever, was standing next to me with paper and ink writing down all my decrees and declarations. The next day, one of my daughters called me crying that her boyfriend, the man that proposed to marry her, an atheist which she secretly kept from me, broke the relationship. According to her, he said that he did not want to fight against his children attending Church with her.
PRAYERS FOR DELIVERANCE FOR THE CHILDREN
1. Every handwriting of ordinance written over the lives of my children; those which are already implemented, or those which await implementation in their lives, I declare terminated by the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus ‘name, Amen (Colossians 2: 14)
2. Dear Lord, contend with those who contend with my children, fight against those who fight against them in Jesus’ name, amen (Psalm 35: 1).
3. All those who are incensed against you (mention their names) shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. you shall seek them and shall not find
them Those who contend with you and those who war with you shall be as nothing. As a non-existent
thing in Jesus name, (Isaiah 41: 11-12).
4. My children shall be made into new threshing sledge with sharp teeth, and they shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff, in Jesus’ name, (Isaiah 41:15).
5. Even the lawful captives shall be delivered, and the Lord shall contend with those who contend with my children, and He shall deliver them, in Jesus’ name, (Isaiah 49: 25)
6. The Lord shall cause the enemies who rise against my children to flee before them. They shall come against them one way, and they shall flee seven ways in Jesus’ name, amen (Deuteronomy 28: 7)
8. My children shall not die, but live to declare theworks of God in Jesus’ name, (Psalm 118: 17).
9. The sun shall not strike my children by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve them from all evil, he shall preserve their soul and also preserve their going out and coming in, in Jesus’ Name (Psalm 121: 6).
10. Because, God is for my children, no one can be
against them, in Jesus’ name. There is no charge against my children because they are the Lord's elect and are the righteousness of God in Christ esus Christ in Jesus name, amen (Romans 8: 33).
11. Every charge laid against my children is condemned in Jesus’ name; they are righteousness is of God (Romans 8: 33).
12. No weapon formed against my children shall prosper and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, I condemn, for this is their heritage from the Lord and their righteousness is of the Lord in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 54:17).
PRAYERS TO APPRIOPRIATE THE BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM OVER THEIR LIVES
1. Blessed are the fruits of my body … (mention their names) in Jesus name, amen. Blessed shall my children be when they come in, and blessed are they when they go out in Jesus name, amen.
2. Thank you Father for having commanded your blessings on all that my children shall set their hands to do in Jesus name, amen.
3. My children are blessed wherever they go; in
the land of their birth and in the foreign land in Jesus name, amen.
4. The Lord will cause the enemies who rise against my children to be defeated before their faces; they shall come out against them one way, and shall flee seven ways in Jesus name, amen.
5. Thank you Father for having established…. (mention their names) as a holy people unto yourself in Jesus name, amen.
6. Dear Heavenly Father, according to your word, you shall open unto my children … (mention their names) the good treasure, the heavens, to give them rain in due season, and will bless all the works of their hands in Jesus name, amen.
7. My children are the head and not the tail, and they shall be above only and not beneath in Jesus name, amen.
